The major carrier in Brazil, Azul Brazilian Airlines, has today announced the closure of its operations between Brazil and ASJE International Airport.

Azul Brazilian Airlines will be closing its only remaining passenger service, which had linked its main airport hub in Campinas, Brazil (VCP), and ASJE International Airport with an additional stopover through the popular Floridian city of Fort Lauderdale, United States of America (FLL), while utilising an Airbus A330-900neo widebody aircraft.

The service in question that is closing today was inaugurated on ASJE International Airport's passenger network on June 2nd, 2020, and effectively removes both Azul Brazilian Airlines as an airline, as well as Campinas, Brazil (VCP) and Fort Lauderdale, United States of America (FLL) as destinations from ASJE International Airport's global operational network.

The services mentioned above are listed below:

  • AD8704/8705 > VCP-FLL-AJE-FLL-VCP / A339
