Germany's national flag carrier, Lufthansa, has today announced a further expansion of their operations connecting Germany and ASJE International Airport, by signing the dotted line for third commitment to the airport.

Utilising a Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental aircraft, Lufthansa is opening a new service linking the airline's main airport base in Frankfurt, Germany and ASJE International Airport while using Tokyo's Narita International Airport as a stopover.

Lufthansa becomes the second carrier to bring the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental to ASJE International Airport, this comes under three weeks since Korean Air Lines confirmed their latest service using the world's second-longest passenger aircraft.

The service mentioned above is listed below:

  • LH716/717 > FRA-NRT-ASE-NRT-FRA (B748)
