Today at ASJE International Airport, we're glad to announce the exciting acquisition of a second Boeing 747-400 that once operated for Australian flag carrier, Qantas, as part of our ASJE Commercial Museum (ACHM) program.

VH-OJS was delivered to Qantas on September 30, 1999, and was retired from Qantas' fleet on February 18, 2019, after almost 20 years of service. The acquisition of this 26-year-old aircraft is a significant triumph for our ACHM program, as the Boeing 747-400 fleet, including the 'Extended Range' variant, has played a crucial role in Qantas' passenger network between August 1989 and March 2020 until the entrance of its successor, the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

Authorities are working on determining when the aircraft will be in our hands and a part of our ACHM program. Updates will be released to the public as soon as they become available.
