Today at ASJE International Airport, we're glad to announce the exciting acquisition of a third Boeing 747-400 that once operated for Australia's flag carrier, Qantas, as part of our ASJE Commercial Heritage Museum (ACHM) program.

VH-OJB was delivered to Qantas on September 15, 1989 and was retired from Qantas' fleet on April 25, 2012, after nearly a full 23 years of service and wore the iconic "Wunala Dreaming" aboriginal special livery between September 1994 and March 2003. The acquisition of this 36-year-old aircraft is a feat for our ACHM program, as the Boeing 747-400 played a vital role for Qantas between August 1989 and March 2020 until the entry of the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

Authorities are working on when the aircraft will be in our hands and a part of our ACHM program. Updates on these details will be made public as soon as they become available.
